How To Make Money From Blogging

10 Steps to Make Money from Blogging. Are you wondering how to make money from blogging? How determined are you to make money from blogging?

You would need to put in some time, learning, and work to make money from blogging. You didn’t think it was a quick thing to make money from blogging, did you?

Your blogging earnings may take quite a while to grow too. However, for those really determined to make money from blogging, and who are prepared to put in the time, learning and effort required, and who are prepared to be a bit patient, blogging can be a pretty rewarding experience.

10 Steps to Make Money from Blogging

To make money from blogging, you need to:

1.
Get a blog – a free one like a blogspot.com blog or a blog that is totally your own by getting a domain, hosting, and WordPress and a theme installed.

2.
Have fairly good writing skills, or be able to recognize fairly good writing skills if you are purchasing blog posts to put on your blog. Your content should be interesting or useful or funny – something other people besides your family and friends will enjoy reading or will find useful or will find funny and interesting.

3.
Be able to write unique content (appearing nowhere else on the Internet) or be able to check that blogs posts you are buying appear nowhere else on the Internet and that the seller of those blog posts will never put the posts elsewhere on the Internet themselves.

4.
Learn how to add unique (written yourself/appearing nowhere else on the Internet) content (blog posts and images – and maybe ads) to your blog yourself, or pay somebody to do so.

5.
Understand that blog posts should be at least 300 words each, preferably longer, as long as 700 or more words each, even.

6.
Have at least a basic understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization), use keywords or key phrases that have search volume, and have some knowledge on how and where to include keywords or key phrases in your blog posts, and how often to repeat those keywords or key phrases in your blog posts. Failing this, hopefully you are prepared to spend a lot of time, and / or money, on other ways of advertising your blog. You need to get lots of people to visit your blog in order for you to make a decent income from it.

7.
Regularly add new content to your blog – perhaps twice a week at the least, but perhaps more often when you first start your blog, and if you have the time (or money to pay somebody else to do it for you) then as often as you can (perhaps 3 to 8 new posts a day).

8.
Monetize your blog with something that can make you money: have ads on your blog, or give information about a service you offer, or give information about a product you sell. Monetize your blog with all three if you like.

9.
GET LOTS OF TRAFFIC (VISITORS) TO YOUR BLOG:
– Increase your understanding and use of SEO.
– Link to your blog from other sites.
– Advertise your blog all over – both offline and online – using free methods of advertising or paid methods of advertising, or both.

10.
Keep adding new blog posts regularly, and keep advertising (doing number 9. above).

Conclusion/Disclaimer
Nobody can tell you exactly how much money you might make from blogging. If you don’t put in much time, learning or work, you’ll likely make nothing or next to nothing.
