You are also welcome to contact us about us placing an ad for you on every page of the site (top or bottom), or on most pages (pages and posts that have a side bar) – note that this advertising will not cost only R100 for 6 months.

How long? Advertising is for 6 months – from the day we place your ad, until 6 months later

The cost is R100 for 6 months – or for International advertisers, if they can pay via PayPal, the cost is $9.50 for 6 months
– for South Africans this is advertising for less than R19 a month, or for less than R0.70 a day
– for those outside South Africa this is advertising for less than $1.70 a month, or less than $0.06 a day

How to pay? Via EFT if in South Africa, or via PayPal if outside of South Africa. Payment must be made in full for 6 months, in advance. Your ad or ads should be placed by us within 2 days of us having received confirmation of payment.

What size ad? 200 x 200 px – in jpeg format – no blinking ads – static ads only – if you have no image banner, you can provide text and we will make a plain 200 x 200 px banner for you displaying that text – fewer words will mean larger text, more words will mean smaller text

What you can advertise: Just about anything! Family friendly content only. No linking to non-family friendly content websites. Affiliate or referral links are allowed / welcome, but not for traffic exchange sites or for get paid to click sites.

How many ads? There is space for 100 ads on the page. You may have us place more than one ad for you, but you must pay for each ad, and the ads should not look identical, but can all link to the same site.

Ad placement: First come, first served, left to right and top to bottom
– confirmation of payment received reserves the next still-available ad space for you.

Note 1: We reserve the right not to accept to publish some ads we receive for whatever reasons. We will review the ad, and if it meets our requirements, and if we are still accepting ads, we will let you know that you can go ahead and make payment.

Note 2 We make no guarantees as to how many times your ad may be seen or clicked. Truth: this site has received an average of 450 page views per day from mid July to mid August 2015, and an average of 400 page views per day in the 30 days before that. There may be a good chance that the site averages 500 page views per day by the end of your 4th or 5th month of advertising.

Note 3:

a) We do know that your ad will at least be seen by other advertisers looking at the page, and by those who look at the page because they’re thinking of advertising

b) We prominently display a link to the ad page near the top right of every page on this site – an average of about 270 unique daily visitors to this site will see this link – that’s over 8 000 unique visitors to this site per month that will see the link to the ad page

c) It’s incredibly cheap advertising

d) You get a link to your site (if you have a site) or to your Facebook page (if you have a Facebook page)

e) We provide a little SEO by including an image title tag and an image alt tag for each advert
