You do not need to pay a web designer to create your website when you can create your own website for free. You do not even need to know website design coding when you create your own website using WordPress.

If you really want to change your website quite a bit, after having chosen a free WordPress theme from a selection of more than 1 500 free WordPress themes, then by all means first learn a little html, but when you use WordPress you can change your website header banner, can sometimes change the background colour or background image, can easily add photos to your pages of content, and can make use of a wide variety of WordPress plugins and widgets, all to make your site look almost any way you want it to look, then why bother to learn html?

WordPress is fun. Using a free WordPress theme for your site means you won’t have to ask (or pay) a web designer to make updates or changes to your website, because with WordPress being a content management system, you can make changes to your site yourself! It may take a bit of getting used to, learning how to make changes to your WordPress-powered site yourself, or how to add new pages or posts, but if you can read instructions and if you are not in too much of a rush, you shouldn’t take too long to get the hang of it. There are many free “lessons” on the Internet that you can read through to help you along the way.
