Many people have heard of Google Adsense or that people make money with Google Adsense, while some people don’t even know about it. Not all of even those who have heard about Google Adsense know how it works.
How Do You Make Money With Google Adsense? – How Google Adsense Works:
First, picture this:
1)
You know how you tell somebody about the great new product you bought and where they can also go and get it? Then that person goes and buys that product too to try it out for themselves?
2)
What happened? You sent a new customer to a business. That customer spent money at that business because of you. And you get nothing for having helped that business make some of their money. Wouldn’t it be nice if you did?
— What do the above two points have to do with how to make money with Google Adsense? —
a)
Some website owners advertise their websites (and thus their business services or products) online through the Google Adwords PPC (Pay Per Click) program.
b)
Those website owners, or advertisers, are charged certain amounts by Google when their ads are clicked.
c)
Those ads are the ads you often see in the first few search results or at the right hand side of search results when you use Google to look for information on the Internet.
d)
Depending on the settings the advertisers have made within their Google Adwords accounts, those ads also sometimes appear on other websites too (and not just in the Google search results top area and right hand area).
e)
One of those websites where the ads of those advertisers appear could be your website. You can make money with Google Adsense!
f)
The advertisers’ ads will only appear on your website if you have a Google Adsense account, making you a Google Adsense publisher, and you’ve put the coding for the ads into the pages of your site. You generate that coding – to simply copy and paste into your site in the areas you want ads to appear – within your Adsense account.
g)
You don’t choose specific ads, but the ads that appear usually relate to the words in the content you write and publish on your site. Sometimes people who visit your site will see ads related to other sites they’ve recently visited.
h)
When somebody visits your site and happens to think one of the ads looks interesting enough to learn more, they click the ad and visit the website the ad links to – that website is the website of somebody who has used Google Adwords to advertise their website.
i)
Because somebody visited that advertiser’s website after first visiting your site, you could say that you sent your site’s visitor to that website.
j)
Google pays you something because you helped one of their Google Adwords advertisers get a visitor to his or her website.
Conclusion:
How do you make money with Google Adsense?
If you “send” people to the websites of people who use Google Adwords for their advertising, from your own site because you’re a Google Adsense publisher, Google pays you for the clicks you received on the ads – you make money with Google Adsense.
