The first New Life Designs Arts and Crafts Market at Bradys Cafe Floradale, organized by Ministries Alive church, was held on 27 July 2013. The next two New Life Designs arts and crafts markets will be held on Saturday 17 August and Saturday 7 September.
We were happy to have a friend of ours and the church she attends (Ministries Alive) invite us to sell our upcycled products at their first arts and crafts market day at Brady’s Cafe in late July.We hope to be available to sell at more of these New Life Designs arts and crafts market days in the future too.
The grassy area near the outdoor dining area at Brady’s Cafe is set in the lush surrounds of Floradale Nurseries – the perfect setting for an East London arts and crafts market.
The Ministries Alive and New Life Designs arts and crafts stall holders had interesting products at their arts and crafts stalls – some products we’d not seen before at the usual flea markets and craft markets we try to sell at. So come to Brady’s Cafe at Floradale whenever New Life Designs is having their arts and crafts market day, if you’re looking for items typically and refreshingly different from what you may see at other markets in and around East London. Look out for herbs, paintings,
fresh fruit,
yummy things to eat,
a generous amount of pretty decor items,
different kinds of jewellery items,
and many more arts and crafts products.
And the people are so friendly too.Browse around,
smile and chat.
Laugh.
Stay a while.
10% of the stall holders’ takings go to the Ministries Alive church – what a brilliant idea – stall holders earn some extra income and help the church at the same time. Also, shoppers are thus not only supporting the stall holders, but the church too.
Don’t know where Brady’s Cafe or Floradale is?
Once you’ve turned off the old Gonubie Road into Floradale Nurseries, you can either park on the left, or turn in right and park right outside the entrance to Floradale Nurseries itself
– once in that area, you’ll see Brady’s Cafe on your right, opposite the entrance to Floradale Nurseries itself.Walk past Brady’s Cafe indoor and outdoor eating area, towards a grassy area at the back.
Enjoy your browsing and shopping!
Hope to see you there! Saturday 17 August and Saturday 7 September.
