It’s not too difficult to start your own business in South Africa cheaply. And it doesn’t have to be a scary thing to start your own business, and it doesn’t have to be expensive. You can start your own business in South Africa cheaply and easily.
Perhaps you can’t find a job in South Africa or you need to earn extra income. Perhaps you think that starting your own business means you first have to have a lot of money. Not so! One can start one’s own business in South Africa cheaply.
Not all businesses need a shop or office that customers or clients need to visit. Your “shop” or “office” can be in the form of a website or blog – your own site!
There are types of businesses you could start that don’t need a shop or an office. You can work from the comfort of your own home, with your computer and the Internet. People will visit your blog (or site), not your shop or office. People can contact you using a contact form on your blog (or site), or can email you. They don’t need to see you in person or even need to phone you. You could do your work in your pajamas if you wanted to, and nobody would know.
Start your own business in South Africa at home!
What home businesses cost nothing or next to nothing to start?
Services
Offer Internet related services or computer related services, such as writing, Internet research, site set-up or design, SEO, business or website marketing, graphic design, and photo editing.
Sell products
Sell products like digital products: photos, images, website templates, and logos, or products that you collect or source for free or cheaply, or that you make yourself. You would take photos of the physical products and put them on your own site, selling them from there or taking orders. You could also sell other people’s things, taking a commission when you sell something.
Blogging
Write unique content for your blog, regularly, and when the blog is getting enough traffic, start monetizing the blog with ads (ad programs that you’ve joined, affiliate site products, or rent advertising space to businesses related to what you’re writing about on your blog). You can also advertise your own business on that blog – the things you sell or the services you offer. If you have a little patience and are willing to put in the time and effort, it is not that difficult to learn how to make money from blogging.
