I can eat peppermint crisp fridge tart late at night, or first thing in the morning. Peppermint crisp fridge tart has 3 ingredients I love. I have a sweet tooth and love glace cherries. I also love caramel and chocolate.
Since I like red and green colors at Christmas time, peppermint crisp fridge tart with red and green glace cherries is particularly welcome then, but also at any other time of the year – or time of the day or night!
Depending on how much of a sweet tooth you have – and on how much of a sweet tooth anyone else has who you may be blackmailed into sharing your peppermint crisp fridge tart with, you can make this sweet tart as sweet as you like. If hardly anything satisfies your sweet tooth, then make a really thick peppermint crisp fridge tart with lots of caramel, lots of grated or finely chopped peppermint crisp chocolates, and lots of glace cherries. Use whipped cream if you like, instead of dessert cream.
You can have one layer of each of the ingredients, with each layer as thick or as thin as you like, or you could have two or three layers of all the ingredients. Once you’ve used all of the ingredients required for each layer, you can start again and do a second layer of each, and even, perhaps, a third.
How to Make a Peppermint Crisp Fridge Tart
First comes the tennis biscuits,
Then the caramel,
Then the whipped cream or dessert cream,
Then the grated or finely chopped peppermint crisp,
Then the glace cherries
Pop your peppermint crisp fridge tart into the fridge – or even into the freezer if you’re really desperate for it to get really cold really quickly, and then enjoy it nice and cold – alone, or if you can possibly part with some of it, with a friend or two or three, or with your family.
